When families gather for funerals they tend to talk of the past… but in this rollickingly good comedy there are quite a few details of the deceased’s past they’d rather not publicise. Directed by Frank Oz (of Muppets fame) this can only be described as a disrespectful romp of a sort only the British would enjoy. Not to be confused with the dire American remake which died at the box office. (UK 2007)
